6th graders suck

I need to rant, so I'm doing it now. Sixth grade is a horrible rotten age group, and I'll be damned if I sub for them again. And to think I actually thought the kids at McKinley were a handful! Ha.

Okay, and another thing. We as black people have to stop giving our kids stupid ass names. Seriously. There was a girl in the class named Nautica. Nautica for god's sake. I mean honestly, I'm going to take a wild guess here and say she was named after her mother's favorite line of clothing, then assuming her name actually had some real meaning behind it. What the freaking heck man? We gotta stop giving white people reasons to stereotype us.

I tried to be nice to the kids, it didn't work. I got mean with the kids, it didn't work. It's like, what else can you do with them. Trying to ignore little things didn't help. Getting on to them about little things didn't help. I couldn't win for lose.

I am getting a freaking day off tomorrow. I'm not taking a sub job, that is for sure. If I have many more sub experiences like this, I'll have to start canvassing the mall for a job. Anything would be better.
