My head hurts!

I know I said I was going to post another Blue Lake blog...but my head hurts! I'm sick again. Sorry to keep announcing that to anyone who will listen, but it's really really pissed me off. I was sick less then a month ago. I had just gotten over a cold (the never ending cold, by the way) for Thanksgiving, and now, boom, here I am, sick again! The other cold though, while it was annoying to be sick, wasn't the worst ever cold. I mean, that cold was annoying because it left me really tired, and I was coughing my head off. This cold, on the other hand, is way worse. I ran a fever on and off all day yesterday. I was achy and tired. Now I'm feeling better than yesterday (I suspect it is because of the massive doses of Zicam I've been taking) but my head is hurting like a mother. I figure I haven't had enough fluids today (okay, I KNOW I haven't had enough fluids today) which is probably a good contributing factor to my headache. Well, now I'm drinking tea and I just took some Tylenol Cold and Flu...so hopefully within the next hour I'll be feeling better. Ah, so the Tylenol was expired...I'm not worried about it hurting me...I just hope it's still potent.

I have 4 chapters left of Sense and Sensibility, and I haven't finished it! I just felt like such crap the last couple of days that the thought of holding up a book and looking at that small print made my head hurt. Plus, randomly, of all body parts to ache, my elbows were aching yesterday! No holding a book up when your elbows are aching. Geez.

So...in other news, as my birthday is a little more then a month away, I've been trying to figure out how to celebrate it. Of course, cementing down plans is always a difficult task seeing as my birthday is in the midst of January in Michigan. A blizzard is always waiting around the corner to destroy all of my birthday plans. I'm considering having two parties. It is going to be my 25th birthday, after all. Are two parties obnoxious? See, my thoughts were that I have a lot of friends in the Flint/Detroit area, and a few good friends in the Lansing area. Now, I could just have my party at a nice restaurant here in Flint, and just tell everyone to come up here. The people in the Detroit suburbs would have to drive about 45 minutes, and the people in Lansing would have to drive about 45 minutes. That would be an even exchange. The problem is...there isn't crap to do here in Flint! I'm trying to think up a good restaurant, but most of them totally won't cut it for a great birthday. Hmm...maybe the Speakeasy might cut it...but I'm not sure. I could find such a great party place down near Detroit, or even near Lansing. That's why I'm considering two parties. My dad did tell me they were opening a new Japanese steak house in the city, maybe I should check that out as my potential birthday place?? Ah, I wish I lived some place fun like Chicago or Toronto. Then I could have a rockin birthday party.

These thoughts, to be continued, when my head doesn't hurt so freaking bad!

Ah, sad and pathetic here! I live outside of Boston and my birthdays have sucked lately. My college ones sucked because I was home for one and the other 3 were just as the semester started. Yes January birthdays SUCK!
