Karma is Going to Bite Me in the Ass

I think I'm becoming the infrequent blogger lately! Life has been busy, and yet no words come out of my brain! It seems though I actually have something interesting to talk about today :)

First off, my class is over, which I might have mentioned earlier. :) Grades aren't out yet, but I don't even care about my grade. For better or for worse, I'm done. :) I'm feeling very neutral on grad school at the moment. I honestly don't expect to get in, because I greatly ignored rolling admissions. But we shall see, time will tell. If I don't get in, it's okay. I have lots of other second plans, and even some third plans in mind.

Here is a picture of rehearsing at The Whiting with the Flint Symphony Orchestra.

If you look hard, the conductor, Maestro Enrique Dimeke is down in the middle, the little black blob waving his hands. He is fantastic. :)

Choir is over for the season. I was thrilled to do Beethoven's 9th, but I was really tired of the rehearsing. Plus, my cousin was getting on my LAST nerve!!! The kid unfortunately, has his father's personality. Which, if you knew his father, you would know that cardboard has more of a spark. So... yeah. I know that sounds really mean of me, but it's true! Every single Monday, from February, until yesterday, I heard over and over and over and over again that my cousin got one line in the spring musical, and that he got to be the "clumsy" one in Cinderella. And that was it. Seriously, it was the same two sentences over and over again. Not just every rehearsal, but every time he opened his mouth, he said "It's so cool, I got a line in the musical when usually only seniors do. And, I get to pretend to be clumsy." Okay, seriously, imagine hearing those exact sentences about 10 or 15 times in one night, for almost three months!!! I wanted to scream at him to either think of something new to say, or to shut up. I would try to smile and be polite and bring the conversation to something else, like saying "Yeah that's really cool. So what are you plans for the summer?" His response would always be "I don't know yet, probably playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) a lot. It's so cool, I got a line in the musical when usually only seniors do. And, I get to pretend I'm clumsy."

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Seriously, I know the kid was excited, but I wanted to gag him.

******

There is even more frustration on that topic (as in being turned in to my cousin's personal taxi) but I'm going to let it go, otherwise I'd be blogging about it all night long.

******

Moving on to the more interesting topic. I feel slightly guilty because my friend swore me to secrecy, and I've kind of told two people. And now I'm telling you guys. But in my defense, I have not, nor will I tell someone that has the potential to spread the gossip. Basically, of course, it has to do with someone who will be working at camp this summer. My friend told me about the person, and it was such a bomb that I had to talk to someone! So I told my friends Holly and Nathan. They both know the situation well, and at the same time, neither of them will be on staff this summer. They won't be conversing with anyone on staff, either, so I felt like, if I had to tell someone, these were my safeties. People who know the situation, yet have no power to spread it.

I know, I'm totally awful for justifying that I'm a shameless gossip.

Basically it goes something like this. My boss for the summer, the person I'll be assisting... is 32 years old, single, and kind of abrasive, when you don't know her very well. Which is why I really didn't want to work with her last summer. When you get to know her, you realize she's not that bad, even if she's a control freak. So anyhow, said boss... we've had conversations about her ex-boyfriends and how she's wanting to get married and settle down and have kids.... Perfectly normal conversation for a 32 year old single woman to have, right?

Well, my friend shocked me yesterday by telling me she very recently found out that said boss apparently decided sometime in the past year that she is... a lesbian. And not only is she a lesbian, but she is having a relationship with a Unit Director... who most definitely has not come out as a lesbian. I mean, if you guys knew these people, you would be screaming OMG!!!! Seriously, when I told my best friend Holly, her first response was "Ahahahhhhhhhhhhh Oh my god. Oh my god! OH MY GOD!!!!!" So, it was pretty shocking to say the least. But now you guys know why I just haddddd to let it out. My blog is pretty safe seeing as only a handful of people in this vast world know that it exists. Yeah, I had to let it out! I know, karma is probably going to come around and bite me hard in the ass.

******
Speaking of karma biting me hard in the ass, I'm starting my very first shift as a volunteer in the ER tomorrow! I'm super nervous that I'm going to come across as a major dork and an idiot. Luckily, it's only four hours of misery tomorrow. It will only be a four hour shift every Tuesday, for the month of May. I can handle that, right? Even if I do come across as the biggest dork who ever lived.

******
Finally, the 21 day challenge. I decided to start over yesterday, because it wasn't quite going as planned. I would either go to bed at a decent hour without exercising in the day, or I would exercise and stay up late. I decided I needed to do it the right way, so I started over yesterday with great results. Actually, I need to stop blogging so I can work out and then get my clothes freshly ironed for tomorrow. :) I'll be sure to blog about my adventures in the ER.

Hmm, is your boss having a relationship with that other person who wasn't hired? That would be some crazy shizz. I may of screwed up the story though. ;P

LOL... no, not that girl! LOL We all knew she was a lesbian, because when you hit on another girl repeatedly people start to make assumptions. No, this is another girl, a girl noooo one would have suspected, and we're all shocked.

Hmm, crazy! The only girls I know that came out as lesbians didn't really surprise anyone. It was like "We all saw that coming."
