Thursday, already?

Is it seriously Thursday already?? Wow. Where is the time going?

I have yet to decorate for Easter! I kept meaning to, but I was so swamped with work that it never got accomplished. I am going to bring up the step ladder after I eat some lunch (it's about 3pm and I haven't gotten lunch yet...) and dig out the Easter decorations. I've got some cute stuff too, like egg candles, and a decorative basket, and a million stuffed bunnies. I'll take photos! :)

I love how reading Harry Potter is more important today than reading Biochem! The good news is that our test is pretty much done. This time I was pretty much the slacker. Quite frankly, I was tired of carrying other people's weight, and I decided to not do it this time around. Out of ten problems, I did two, plus I typed up the final copy of the test, and did the proofreading. Regardless of how my grammar may be on this blog, when it comes to an actual written essay, I am a damn good writer, if I do say so myself. :) I've never gotten less than an A on any paper I wrote. So it was actually my pleasure to proofread and fix all the grammar mistakes my partners had made.

Now my focus can be more on getting through my readings for my certification... which by the way is coming up in two weeks! I'm really ready to get it out of the way, but I am not really looking forward to the almost 3 hour drive to camp. Plus I'm really not looking forward to spending a night all by myself in faculty village! The other girl who is getting certified can't come up until Saturday morning, which leaves me arriving by myself on Friday night. Which means I'll be sleeping in our faculty village cabin by myself in the pitch black dark... with virtually no other souls on camp.... creepy! Plus I have a feeling Jenn is going to be quite evil on us, she mentioned something about having "live victims." Oh the joy.

Ah my room is in dire, dire need of spring cleaning! Ack. Like everything else in my life, cleaning got put aside. Tomorrow, being Good Friday, I figure would be a nice day to get some cleaning done. Ah... but I need to do a full scale clean! Clean out the closet, clean out my armiore, wash all my blankets., throw some stuff away... Yeah, it's going to be an all day job, I'm sure.

Finally, and the real reason why I wanted to blog today, I've decided on my 21 day challenge! I really like the challenge Misti has proposed, and I'll be sure to add the link to my blog soon. I've decided on two things, exercising every day, and going to bed at a decent hour. That means that under no circumstances can I go to bed later than midnight on weekdays, and 1am on the weekends. The randomly staying up until 3am or 4am if I feel like it and messing up my sleep pattern for days on end has to come to a stop! As for the exercise, I really need to make exercise a solid habit. I was going to the gym about twice a week the past month before I got sick again. Which is great, but I would like to kick it up to three and four times a week. I usually wouldn't exercise every single day, but I'm going to for the 21 day challenge, to get myself in a good habit. Plus, it is spring now (even if the weather currently disagrees) and I would like to wear all my cute little spring tops without feeling like a fat blob in them with my stomach roll. Anyhow, I've decided to start the 21 day challenge on April 23rd, when I get back from my certification weekend.

Now I really need to get some lunch because my stomach is threatening to digest itself!

Good luck on your 21 Days goals!

The sleeping one is one of mine too and I know it will be the hardest.

Oooh, I like the sleeping one! I've actually been doing that for a month - so I could say that's a 21 day challenge I've mastered. I haven't been going to bed past 12am and neither has Kirk.

You're going to feel so energized during the day - I'd love to keep up with how your energy level changes.

Jessica, I agree with the energy changing! That was one of the major reasons for deciding on not only decent sleeping patterns, but daily exercise. Too often after work I feel completely exhausted, and I would like to be able to come home and still have energy for the things I want to do with my day.
