No lie, I nearly forgot about blogging today! I even visited other blogs, but I forgot about my own. That's pretty funny actually. I got so fixated on my theory paper this afternoon (oh, that paper was a big old stinking pile of pooh!), that I just kind of forgot that I hadn't blogged yet.
So today has been pretty boring, like I mentioned above, I was pretty fixated on my paper! There were some cool things that happened last night and this morning, though! First, my friend Andrea called me to say she was getting $5 tickets for the Pistons game on Wednesday. I'm sure the seats are nosebleed, but I freaking LOVE the Detroit Pistons, and I can't wait to go to the game on Wednesday night! It never fails, whenever Andrea bugs me to no end, she always finds a way to redeem herself.
Secondly, I got an email on my school account, offering charter buses down to Washington D.C. to see Obama's inauguration! How cool is that? I haven't decided if I want to go yet, but what a really cool opportunity! I'm going to go to the office of student life tomorrow to see if there are any spots on the trip left. It would be really, really neat.
I wish I had more to blog about, but I'm actually feeling a bit lightheaded right now! I think I'm probably just a little tired, as I didn't get fantastic sleep last night. I'm actually considering working tomorrow... ah.

Another Monday

How could you even think about not going to the inauguration, given the chance? It would be so cool! Are they staying overnight? I hear hotel rooms are almost impossible to get.

I don't think we'd be staying overnight... we'd be leaving late Monday night, getting in to D.C. first thing in the morning... then I assume we'd be leaving afterwards, because the buses are scheduled to arrive back on campus early Wednesday morning. So... that is definitely a downside, sleeping two nights on a bus!
