Burning Down the House

Or in this case, burning down the city, literally. On Friday, as in, three days ago, the city of Flint made huge layoffs to the firefighters and police force. The city has no money, and this was the solution to save the city from financial ruin once again. Only many people in the city were greatly opposed to these cuts. So... in the span of these three days, some arsonist has been on the loose through the city. (Aren't you proud I used "loose" correctly? Ha.) Now this could be a laid off fireman... a crazy person taking advantage of a bad situation... or even just some pissed off residents. But in the span of three days, we've had 23 fires. Yes, that's right, 23. I'm sure the number will rise tomorrow.
