I spent an obscene amount of money at Target today... well at least for a broke grad student!
Do I feel guilty? No. I haven't really spent a dime of my income tax money. While it's nice to save that money, spending a small fraction of it isn't going to kill me either. It felt quite good to do a little retail therapy today. :)
I bought:
-2 Yoga blocks ($12 a pop... for foam blocks, geez)
-New workout pants... microfiber track style pants in gray
-Pressed powder
-Teal Stationary... looks very "Indian"... super cool, couldn't resist it. (I may have mentioned before that I had a slight obsession with stationary
-A Sleep Mask (Yes. I'm a diva who bought a sleep mask. Actually, my room sits Southwest... lots and lots of sunlight... I forever am covering my head in blankets trying to block out the morning light)
-A new pink Sports Bra (no one will ever see that it is pink except for me, and possibly my mom on the occasion that she gets to my laundry before I do... but somehow I feel better knowing I have a pink bra on, haha.)
-A cool new BPA free pink heavy duty Water Bottle... one of those kind that pop open so you don't need to unscrew the whole thing, with a plastic loop at the top that I can attach to my carabiner.
And that's all... I was tempted to buy more, but I didn't want to spend all day, and all of my money at Target. You might have noticed that the things I bought seem to reflect my desire to get in to the gym. Working out in December/January made me feel really good, even if I didn't quite last the whole 28 days. I'm ready to make it part of my regular schedule again. Plus, my room is almost as clean as I want it to be, which means I will have room to roll out my exercise mat again.
