Today has been a good day. :) I woke up feeling content. Not feeling that everything is magically better, but feeling good about the decisions I've recently made. Speaking your mind is incredibly liberating, and I highly suggest it for everyone reading this. :)
I now officially have 11 boxes of stuff packed away. I'm such a dork that I have labeled each box not only by the room in which the items belong, but numbering them, too. And then I go to the Word document I created, and list every item that is in each box. Okay, I hope this will be helpful when it comes to unpacking! Because I know me, and I know that I won't just magically get everything unpacked within a few days. Knowing what is in each box means that if I'm looking for something specific, all I need to do is reference my list, and I can find it.
Anyhoo, besides for packing, I haven't done a ton today, but I feel accomplished! Keeping my brain out of bad places feels pretty good. I've been depressed for two months, so actually, finally letting this go is making me feel like myself again. It'd seem that I would just be at the beginning of this heartbreak nonsense, but in actuality, I'm already two months in and ready for the upswing.
I did officially put my stamp on the promotion offered to me at the end of the summer... I decided to bypass the whole game of "hey, maybe I might want to talk about the thoughts you had for me..." with my boss, and I just went with "Okay, this is what I want. Is it still on the table? Let's discuss how to make that happen." So I've been emailing back and forth about that today.
And other than that... not much going on here. I need to get up at a decent hour to call the doctor first thing, see if I can get in... my knee and leg have been bothering me lately, which is another story in itself which I can share later. I also need to make a list of all the school work I need to get done in the next two weeks, because I've been sailing along, pretending like I have nothing to do! The most amazing part of this... seriously, I find it utterly amazing. After all of this drama with my life going on, somehow I managed to get 100% on one of my midterms. Do not ask me how that happened, purely God looking out for me I think. However that was managed, I'm super grateful.

:) Thanks girls!
Yes, my organization is funny, because if you could peek in my room right now, it looks like a natural disaster hit! Clothes and boxes and stuff EVERYWHERE. -
