Okay so this is my Tuesday post... even though it's after midnight, lol but I already explained my reasoning on this... so yeah. LOL I make my own rules for NaBloPoMo!
So anyhow, I had minor outpatient surgery today... not to mention being at school from 4 until 10pm tonight! So you can probably see why my blogging is taking place after midnight. I think I mentioned before that I have (or had rather) a cyst on my scalp, not too far from my hairline... right smack in the middle of my head? The thing felt like a marble under my skin... anyhoo, I wasn't sure if I was going in for a counsultation today or the actual procedure. But when I went in, there was a surgical assistant, and she was asking me tons of questions, and then rolled in a wheely cart with a syringe and scalpel and all that other fun stuff on it, so I knew what was coming! I was a little afraid because besides for the dentist giving me a filling, I've never had any type of invasive thing done to me!
Well, I sat quietly in the exam chair and crossed my hands, trying not to show my nerves! The doctor smiled and was like "oh don't worry, we'll be done in ten minutes, okay? No more bumpy bump on your head!" There was a hot intern who was helping him with the procedure... haha I couldn't help but notice that the guy was super hot! That's what I need, a super hot guy only taking notice to me to slice open my head! Anyhow, they numbed me up and that burned, but once I was numb I didn't feel a thing. And he was right, in about 10 minutes that had removed the cyst (he showed it to me, it only looked like the size of a pea), and stitched my head. So yes... now I have stitches that have to be removed in like 10 days. My head throbbed for a little while after the numbing wore off... but it feels fine now. A little sore, but not a lot of pain.
So that was my day... oh also I officially accepted the promotion for the summer! Here's hoping the summer of 2010 can't be a repeat of last... Hopefully, all will turn out well! Let the games begin...

Ouch! Reading that made me cringe. I'll bet it feels good to have it over with though! One time I had to get a breast biopsy from a hot guy. I was SO embarrassed, haha!
Yay for the promotion!! That's awesome! -
