Hey guys... I gotta blog right before I go to bed once again... I got back about an hour ago from Detroit... well the suburbs! My friends and I drove down to the Palace of Auburn Hills to see the Pistons lose horribly to the Cleveland Cavaliers... a team I absolutely loathe... ah. But it was still fun, and we had these drinks called "Pistons Punch," which is like two feet of daquiri and pina colata... good times. That stupid drink made most of us pretty ADHD during the game... haha there was one point where we were giggling so much that we all looked up in horror to see the Pistons down by almost 20 points. Diehard Pistons fans we are, even if we are a bunch of girls!
Hey, I'll post the receipe soon for the chocolate pie if you guys want it!
I know, nothing like the night before Thanksgiving to post about the things that bug me... but hey, all the reflectiveness of the holiday and the feeling thankful will come tomorrow. Tonight is about the things that have recently bugged me.
In no particular order:
1. My professor never EVER giving clear direction on anything. I have to work with him next semester on my thesis as my faculty advisor will be out on maternity leave, and I am not looking forward to this at all.
2. People who feel the need to say "goodnight" and "good morning" to Facebook through their statuses. Really? Has it come to this? Are we really soooo addicted to Facebook that we feel the need to say good morning to it? I don't know why this grates on my nerves, but it does.
3. The kid who kept hitting the back of my chair with a pop bottle at the Pistons game tonight. Really kid? Really? And furthermore, your dumb ass father/uncle/brother should have snatched the bottle away from you and told you knock it off, and sit still in your seat.
4. The obnoxious loser guy at the Pistons game who felt the need to talk very loudly about his "connections" to the NBA stars. Oh really? You're super tight with Ben Wallace and Tayshaun Prince? They bought you drinks? They're best friends with your best friends? They regularly give you free tickets for seats right behind the bench? Really? Is that why you're sitting behind me, when my tickets cost $11? And yes, me and my friends laughed hard when he spilled sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings all over his white Ben Wallace jersey.
5. People acting like me doing subbing and going to school full time is not work. Last time I checked, writing a thesis wasn't something people do just for a hobby. And if you think chasing little children around a classroom all day isn't work, think again!
6. I swear it doesn't matter how high I turn the heat up, I am always cold in our apartment! The heat is currently set at 73, and I swear it doesn't feel any warmer than 65 in here! I'm cold!
7. Realizing that personal problems I am dealing with have nothing to do with the location in which I live.
Yes, this post was co-written by Miss PMS herself... but yeah, this is just the few things that have really gotten on my nerves within the last week.
Okay, gotta go to bed, so I can get up at a decent hour to watch the Detroit "America's Thanksgiving Day Parade." It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without watching the Detroit parade on TV... seeing the floats go down Woodward Avenue... who needs NYC and Macy's when we've got the best ever parade in Michigan?

#2 I sometimes do the goodnight/good morning thing on twitter. But since I only have 11 people following me, I don't care. I would never do that on FB. Along with the stupid song lyrics!
#4 cracked me up! There's always someone that "knows" a sports player. *rolling eyes*
#6 I highly recommend a small space heater. Since my sister won't let the thermostat go above 65 degrees, I'm always cold. I use that space heater all the time. I usually move it with me from room to room when it's *really* cold outside. -
