Obviously, this is the follow up to the previous post. :)
June, July, and August
*I got myself all prepared for camp, and two days before I was supposed to leave, my grandmother passed away. :(
*Said my final goodbyes to my grandmother, and for the most part, said my final goodbyes to the majority of my mother's family as well.
*Finished up my last grad class. Funny how I don't really remember much about the class except for a few of my classmates argued a bunch with the newbies in the program.
*Got settled into my new job at camp.
*Made another amazing friend, and loved my new job!
*Was a victim of the strep epidemic that went around this summer, although I hid it from my boss the best I could.
*Found out my friend Jenn had a very rare lung disease. :(
*Got into a huge argument with my friend Jenn at the end of the summer, but we were able to make up and be better friends for it.
*Got called a week after coming home from camp for the long term kindergarten job.
September
*Opened a Kindergarten classroom...eek!
*Flew to Kansas City (first time I'd ever been west of Chicago) for my friend Jenn's wedding.
*Was a bridesmaid in my first ever same sex marriage ceremony.
*Tried to put my toes in the world of dating again, with some humorous results.
*Started going on regular dates with a guy who's only purpose was to be a safe option and not break my heart.
October
*Found that my depression had come back full force, and I was very uncomfortable with it.
*Took the kiddos to an apple orchard for their first ever field trip... they loved every minute of it... but what a headache for me!
*Threw a crazy Halloween party for my kiddos... again they loved it, but man I felt like I had run a marathon by the end of it all!
*Still dating Mr. Harmless, and wondering why I wasn't even attempting to get emotionally involved.
*Got a crazy bad bladder infection thanks to spending a day without going to the bathroom for over 8 hours thanks to the ridiculous schedule my kindergarteners are on.
*Went to a fun Halloween party
November
*More adventures in kindergartenland... crazy kids, crazy parents, enough said.
*Things started going south with me and Mr. Harmless, first I broke up with him, then the next weekend we were together, and then the next weekend he broke up with me. That was awesome... not.
*Got a bad cold, which turned into a bad sinus infection, which then turned into a bad cold again.
*Had a good Thanksgiving with the family.
*Got offered the job of Health Director by my boss at camp, had a mini (or major) freak out trying to process it all.
*Finally got back in to counseling.
*Harry Potter!!!
December
*Finally told the principal at my school that I need to drop to four days a week... for my thesis work and for my mental stability.
*Made peace with the fact that my thesis was going to go into the new year.
*Debated a LOT, and finally decided to accept the Health Director job for 2011.
*Had another wild party for my kiddos for Christmas, and was utterly exhausted by the time I came home!
*Went out for my sister's birthday. Was utterly appalled when she started bragging about the guy she's dating (Read: sleeping with). Meanwhile she tells me how her husband has finally agreed to go to couple's counseling. Ehh.
*My good friends Lauren and Dan came to visit, and we had a great time reminiscing.
*Had a very nice Christmas with the family.
*Wondering what 2011 will bring to me. :)
