Dazed and Confused

So I haven't really decided to do resolutions this year... but I did make a promise to myself to try to blog more often!

First off, I can't believe it is almost 1pm. I have been up since about 9am, and I haven't really done much except eat breakfast. I am still in my pajamas, and I am still in my bed! There is nothing wrong with having a lazy Saturday, but I do need to make it a point today to spend at least an hour working on my thesis. Besides for just being lazy, I've been watching movies on this great website my friend Bernadette introduced me to called Project Free TV. They have tons of free movies and tv shows to watch. This morning I got sucked into the Social Network... it is a really great movie! It wasn't a high quality picture, but some of the movies are better than others. Still, not bad for watching a free movie that hasn't even come out on DVD yet!

This week has been a week of confusion and frustrations. Apparently they did lots of interviews over the holidays for my job, and the principal still didn't find anyone she deemed as being "appropriate." Well, seriously, are you telling me out of all the unemployed teachers in Michigan they can't find one candidate that is "appropriate?" I'm really irritated and over this. She asked how long I could stay, and I told her I'm giving her January (with Fridays off), but I can't promise anything after that. I'm also irritated because she went on and on about how I would get a pay raise for having 60 days in... but the school board has denied it because I don't have 60 consecutive days. I am beyond frustrated at this point... I have more than earned a damn pay raise, and they're not giving it to me based on some arbitrary point. At this point I feel no loyalty or obligation anymore. Why should I when the school board could care less about me? I feel like they'll screw me over in a heartbeat if they want to.

And to add to my confusion, I've went out again with Mr. Harmless. He called me last weekend and said he really missed me and hoped we could give it another try. For some reason I said yes, and we went out last night. It was fine, we had dinner, a drink, and then we went back to his house and cuddled up and watched a movie. What took me by surprise was that when I left and he gave me a small little kiss, I suddenly felt a little fluttery feeling. Not to say I haven't enjoyed a kiss or two... but I hadn't felt this sudden outburst of emotion before on our previous dates. So now these sudden feelings are taking my by surprise, and I don't know what the heck I think anymore. Why does dating and boys have to be so complicated and confusing? Eh.

Anyhow, that's kind of been my life right now. Nothing overly exciting, but a lot of things to be confused about!
