TGIW :)

I have a weird tickle in my throat... I hope I'm not getting sick. But seeing as a 3rd grader sneezed on me Monday, I could very well have a new bug. Boo.

If I am getting sick, at least I've gotten a lot of stuff done! I made my fruit salad and a chocolate meringue pie for tomorrow. And I worked three full days this week. I feel pretty good about that. I really don't want to spend my holiday feeling sick, but hopefully that won't happen. I also made a big pot of chilli tonight... so hopefully between the chilli and the Thanksgiving leftovers I'll be eating good for a few days. :)

So today, since I subbed for middle school/high school, I got a nice fat planning period at the end of the day. The class periods are an hour and a half, so I got an hour and a half to myself! Plus, it butted up with my 30 minute lunch, so that meant I had two hours at the end of the day to myself. So, seeing as I knew what my schedule would be like today, I brought a dvd. So for the end of the day I spent the last two hours of my work day watching the Devil Wears Prada. Not a bad way to start my holiday weekend!

I'm going to be going to bed soon, I can't wait to watch the Detroit Thanksgiving Parade tomorrow morning! It's kind of childish, sure, but it's a tradition. :) The Detroit parade rocks my socks... I never bother with the Macy's parade when I can watch Chilly Willie the Penguin make a run for it on Woodward Avenue. :)
